Ebrahim Raisi’s government is indeed making progress.
On Monday, August 21, Ebrahim Raisi claimed that his government is truly progressing in various aspects and that the enemy’s attacks are due to the country’s progress.
The Iranian Prime Minister, who was speaking at a meeting with members of the academic community in Qom, described the inflation and high prices at the beginning of his government as inappropriate and stated that at the time of taking office, the liquidity growth rate was 42%, which the Central Bank has now announced as 25%.
According to him, the country had a budget deficit of 480 trillion Tomans at the time of taking office, and the solution to this problem was printing money or increasing production, of which his government chose the latter option.
This claim comes at a time when the Central Bank of Iran has suspended the publication of many economic statistics in recent months and has only reported that liquidity has grown by 29% compared to last year’s June.
