Exposing Corruption in Ahmadinejad's Office

Revelation of corruption in Ahmadinejad’s office

According to recent information obtained by Iran Gate team, there is evidence of significant corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office in the Supera’ayani and Vanak area of Tehran. The corruption is said to be around 5 trillion tomans, and some strange details about it have been made available to the editorial team of Iran Gate.

The strange controversies surrounding Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s recent trip to Guatemala have once again brought the name of this famous Iranian politician to the media. While he had not made the smallest comment during the past year and the protests for women’s freedom, now, more than a year later, he has packed his bags and headed to Guatemala, a country known as the main base for Israel in Latin America. Apparently, the country’s security institutions have also tried to prevent him from making this trip.

Simultaneous with these events, documents exposing corruption in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office in Tehran have been obtained by the editorial team of Iran Gate. The information shows that he is not only currently using a super luxury property in Tehran for free, but has also leased a portion of this property to a highly profitable business. This report delves into the details of this case.

What is the story of the Valenjak office?

According to previously published information, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been based in an office located in the Valenjak neighborhood of Tehran since 2014. However, it is unclear what activities he is engaged in at this office, but rumors suggest that individuals like Meshayi Baghaei and Javanfekr frequent this office.

This property, which is a 3,000 square meter villa, has been in the possession of Ahmadinejad and his team for about 10 years without receiving any payment. Abdulreza Davari, Ahmadinejad’s former media advisor, claims that there is a formal lease agreement for this property. However, Iran Gate’s information indicates that this property belongs to the Foundation for the Oppressed and not a single rial has been received from Ahmadinejad for rent over the past decade. The lease agreement is essentially just a piece of paper.

However, Parviz Fattah, the head of the Foundation of the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution, had announced in August 2020 that Ahmadinejad would be moving to a building in the south of Tehran. He claimed in a live television program that the former president of Iran and his team would soon relocate to a property in southern Tehran.

But Parviz Fattah’s statements were not only incorrect, but also misleading. He had said that the property was 1800 square meters and would soon be vacated by Ahmadinejad and his companions. However, the Valenjak property is actually 3000 square meters, and despite more than 3 years passing since those statements, Ahmadinejad still occupies the property.

Location of Ahmadinejad’s luxury office

The property that Ahmadinejad occupies is located at the address Valenjak neighborhood, Mahmoudieh Street, Magsad Ardabili Street, Shadavar Alley, East 8th Lane, Number 6. The telephone number of this office is registered on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s official website with the number 02122017818. The exact location of this property is shown in the image below. It is worth mentioning that this 3000 square meter property, if calculated at the current price of houses in Valenjak, is worth approximately 200 million tomans per square meter, totaling more than 5500 billion tomans.

Corruption in Mahmoud’s office

Recently, information about this office has been leaked to Iran Gate, indicating a billion-dollar corruption scheme. It has been reported that this office, valued at 5,500 billion tomans, belongs to the Foundation of the Oppressed of the Islamic Revolution and has been illegally handed over to Ahmadinejad without any payment.

But the story doesn’t end there. It has recently been observed that a home catering service called Katering has started operating within a section of this complex. Iran Gate has discovered that this catering service pays a monthly rent of over 35 billion tomans to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office. Considering the rental rates in this area of Tehran, it can be said that this property has been rented to the mentioned catering service at a below-market price. However, the more important point here is that Ahmadinejad’s office has seized this income without paying a single rial to the Foundation of the Oppressed.

This is despite the fact that legally Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is also a tenant in the Valiasr neighborhood of Tehran and does not have permission to rent it out to a third party. However, it has been stated that this action was done legally and by the Foundation for the Oppressed, but the rental amount has been placed without any restrictions at Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s office. This action, which was taken after the government of Ebrahim Raisi came into power, is actually part of the billion-dollar reward for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which is being paid to support him.
