The first court hearing for Elaheh Mohammadi was held.

The first court hearing for Elaheh Mohammadi, a reporter who had covered the funeral of Mahsa Amini in Saqqez for the Hemmihan newspaper, was held.

Her lawyer declared this session as positive, but no date has been announced for the next hearing.

Her sister, Elnaz Mohammadi, tweeted about not being able to see her sister in court.

Mina Akbari, a reporter and documentary filmmaker, also witnessed and recounted her experience in front of Elaheh Mohammadi’s court. She wrote that she was able to see Mrs. Mohammadi for a moment and she was strong and resilient, unable to be brought down after 9 months of detention.
