Five percent of the public budget allocated to strengthening the defense infrastructure by the parliamentarians

Five percent of the public budget has been allocated by the members of the parliament to strengthen the defense infrastructure.

In today’s public session, the members of the Iranian parliament allocated five percent of the public budget to strengthen the defense infrastructure, while examining the seventh development plan.

This matter is related to clause A of Article 102 of the seventh development plan, and its purpose is to increase deterrence, proactive measures, and defense capabilities.

In recent years, the Islamic Republic of Iran has allocated a significant budget to military matters.

Some critics argue that the budget for military and security affairs is more important to Iranian authorities compared to the budget for infrastructure reconstruction, development, and welfare of the country.
