A Russian bank has launched a money transfer system to Iran.

On the eve of the signing of the Iran-Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement, a senior official of this institution described Iran as a gateway to important facilities and called on Russian traders to take advantage of new opportunities.

At the same time, Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia, which has lost half of its assets due to Western sanctions, announced the launch of a money transfer system to Iran.

The Minister of Commerce of the Eurasian Economic Union Commission stated that Moscow is seeking to expand trade relations with all countries interested in expanding trade with Russia. According to Andrei Slepniov, Iran has become a very active trading partner for Russia.
