Emirates delays Netanyahu’s trip due to fear of regional crisis

The UAE has postponed Netanyahu’s planned trip to the region due to concerns about the escalating regional crisis with Iran.

Three senior Israeli officials have stated that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has postponed Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned visit to Abu Dhabi last month, citing concerns about the growing regional crisis with Iran.

This is the fifth time in two years that Netanyahu’s scheduled trip to the UAE has been canceled or postponed.

These officials added that the ongoing crisis between Israel and the Palestinians, with the UAE supporting the Palestinians, has prevented further coordination between the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office and the UAE leadership to determine a new date for such a trip.
