Oliyanov, the representative of Russia in international organizations in Vienna, Austria, announced on Wednesday that the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will not issue any resolutions against Iran.
In a tweet, Oliyanov revealed the instructions of the Board of Governors of the IAEA.
He stated that the current guidelines focus on the verification and monitoring of Iran in light of UN Security Council Resolution 2231.
Oliyanov also discussed the guidelines of the ongoing meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors in an interview with Russia 24 news network.
The Russian diplomat mentioned that the current meeting covers 12 topics, including Ukraine and Iran, but there are no resolutions expected to be issued.
