Spain’s plan to evacuate European citizens from Sudan

The Spanish government intends to repatriate European citizens from Sudan using military aircraft following the possible establishment of a three-day ceasefire in the country’s civil war. On Friday, April 21st, the Sudanese army announced in a Facebook post that a three-day ceasefire is set to be implemented starting Friday to allow citizens to celebrate the holidays and festivities at the end of Ramadan. However, the Sudanese army has not specified the exact time for the commencement of the potential ceasefire. Additionally, there has been no confirmation from the paramilitary forces known as the Rapid Support Forces.
