New Western sanctions against Iran

The UK Foreign Office announced that the country, along with the United States and the European Union, has imposed new sanctions against Iran under the pretext of human rights violations.

Mohammad Nazar Azimi, the commander of the Sepah base in Najaf Ashraf, Habib Shahsvari, the commander of the Sepah base in West Azerbaijan province, Mohsen Karimi, the commander of the Sepah base in Central province, and Ahmad Khadem, the commander of the Karbala Sepah base in the southwest of the country, have been included in the sanctions list.
