Tensions in Tehran and Baku relations
Iranian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers spoke twice by phone last night and today about bilateral relations between Baku and Tehran

In this phone call, the foreign ministers of both countries emphasized mutual respect for each other’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and good neighborliness
Since February last year, tensions between the two countries have escalated following an armed attack on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran
