The Taliban has returned eight low-quality diesel fuel tankers to Iran.

Taliban sources have reported that they have returned 8 Iranian fuel tankers at the Farah border crossing.

The Afghan National Standards Authority, under Taliban control, has stated that these tankers were found to be carrying low-quality fuel and have been returned from the 78 Mile-Farah border crossing to the Mehrabad terminal in Iran.

Previously, this authority had also returned fuel tankers from Iran.

This authority states that it has taken serious measures to prevent the entry of low-quality fuel into the country.
