In the past two months, Amnesty International has reported that 94 people have been executed in Iran.
Human rights organizations Amnesty International and the Abdolrahman Boroumand Foundation stated in a report published on Friday, March 2nd, that Iranian authorities have executed at least 14 Arabs, 13 Kurds, and 13 Baluchis in unfair trials since the beginning of this year.
These two organizations state in their report that the Iranian government uses the death penalty as a tool to suppress ethnic minorities.
According to this report, at least 94 people have been executed in Iran in the months of January and February this year, which shows a significant increase compared to the same period last year.
