Emergency landing of Turkish Airlines plane in Istanbul

Moments after taking off from the runway at Istanbul, this plane, which was heading to Barcelona, had to return to Istanbul due to a foul smell that activated the aircraft’s hazard sensors.

Upon landing, it was determined that the smell, similar to that of a corpse, was coming from the cargo area of the plane, where durian fruit was present, which was the cause of the unpleasant odor.
