Trial of an Iranian woman in Cologne
An Iranian woman who owns a travel agency in the city of Cologne is being tried on charges of providing illegal services to Iranian immigration applicants. She is accused of forging passports and bribing embassy and airport staff in exchange for large sums of money.
According to a local newspaper in Cologne, a 42-year-old Iranian woman and the manager of a travel agency, which operated in Tehran and Cologne, has been arrested for engaging in illegal activities. She advertised comprehensive and worry-free migration packages to Germany on the internet, but in return for receiving substantial amounts of money from migrants, she engaged in passport forgery and bribery of embassy and airport personnel.
