The Khaladnabi area has dried up.
The lush and green hills of Mahour and the beautiful plains of Shaghayegh attract many tourists to the Khalad Nabi area every year in Farvardin and Ordibehesht months. Families used to spend time there, enjoying the nature of the area, and this would contribute to the prosperity of ecotourism in the region. But these days, there is no sign of the green wheat fields with clusters of wheat and the hustle and bustle of tourists in the area. The Mahour hills have turned more into dry and grassless deserts.
According to one of the farmers in the area, the rainfall this year was so low that the wheat fields did not even grow one centimeter, and they had to use it as animal feed.
