Netanyahu said that Rafael Grossi is a worthy person who has made inappropriate statements.
Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, called any military attack on nuclear facilities illegal after his trip to Tehran on Saturday.
Netanyahu, in the Israeli cabinet’s weekly meeting, stated that Rafael Grossi is a worthy person who has made inappropriate statements. He questioned whether it is legal for Iran, which openly seeks our destruction, to acquire weapons of mass destruction to destroy us. It is self-evident that we are allowed to defend ourselves and carry out this action.
Earlier in the day, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced that it has received extensive assurances from Tehran, which will help with investigations into uranium particles found at undisclosed sites in Iran, and that dismantled monitoring equipment will be reinstalled.
However, Iran announced just one day later that no agreement has been reached regarding the addition of cameras and monitoring equipment, and no permission has been granted to the agency.
