Results of a survey conducted 20 years after the US invasion of Iraq show that the majority of Iraqis believe that the country was in a better condition during Saddam’s regime.
According to a recent survey, most Iraqis say that the situation in the country has worsened since the invasion led by the United States in 2003.

This comes as the 20th anniversary of the overthrow of President Saddam Hussein in this oil-rich Middle Eastern country approaches.
Gallup International is a global non-profit polling organization that conducted this face-to-face survey in all 18 provinces of Iraq, with a sample population of 2,024 adults in February 2023.
When asked about the current situation in Iraq compared to before the US invasion, 60% of respondents said that the situation has worsened, while 40% said that it has improved.
