Warning from the representative of Shahin Shahr to the judiciary: Do not take any action regarding hijab until April 3rd, the parliament will take action.

Hossein Ali Hajigholigan, the representative of Shahin Shahr, criticized and complained in the parliament about some articles of the Cultural Commission’s report regarding chastity and hijab. He requested the judiciary to provide necessary solutions for legal gaps related to positive or negative aspects of the issue of chastity and hijab within three weeks.

The mentioned deadline will end on April 3rd. If the judiciary does not take any action in this regard, we, as the parliament members, will prepare a proposal and put it on the agenda of the parliament.

Considering the concerns of religious individuals regarding chastity and hijab in society, and the necessity that exists in society, we must have new legislation. In addition, we will follow up on monitoring matters.
