Son of the Kremlin spokesperson fights in Luhansk

Yevgeny Prikhodko, leader of the Wagner paramilitary group, says that Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson’s son, has been fighting alongside the group’s fighters in the Luhansk region against Ukrainian forces. He stated that Peskov personally contacted him about this matter.

Prikhodko claims that Vladimir Putin himself advised the Kremlin spokesperson not to recommend his son for military service in the Ministry of Defense.

The leader of the Wagner group has previously criticized the level and quality of training and leadership of the Russian army forces.

Yevgeny Prikhodko praised Peskov’s son’s actions and mentioned that after completing a three-week training course, he served as an artillery soldier in the disputed Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine.

It is said that the children of Russian officials refuse to send their own children to war. Prikhodko criticized this issue, stating that officials hide their children and send them to universities to prevent them from serving, while the children of workers are being killed in war.
