An Armenian soldier was killed on the Azerbaijan border.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reported the death of a soldier in the country during a clash on the Azerbaijan border.

The ministry also announced that another soldier from Armenia was injured.

According to the statement, the incident took place on March 31, Moscow time, in the southwestern part of the border region, following a misunderstanding between soldiers from the two countries.

The statement further added that as a result of this clash, one Armenian army personnel was killed and another was injured.
