Iranian activist Golrokh EbrahimI has been sentenced to an additional 7 years in prison.

Golrokh EbrahimI, an Iranian writer and civil activist who had previously been imprisoned for writing an unpublished book about stoning, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison by the Revolutionary Court in Tehran.

The Iranian woman, who has been imprisoned multiple times in the past decade, was arrested most recently on October 26, 2022, following nationwide protests in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini in detention at the Gharchak Detention Center in Tehran.
