Gordon Moore, one of the founders of Intel, has passed away.
Gordon Moore, a pioneer of Silicon Valley, passed away at the age of 94 in Hawaii.
Mr. Moore began working on semiconductors in the 1950s and founded Intel.
One of his famous predictions was that the processing power of computers would double every year, which later changed to every two years, a vision known as Moore’s Law.
That law became the foundation for the computer processor industry and had a significant impact on the personal computer revolution.
