Release of 15-year-old boy: Temporary release order for Amirhossein Rahimi issued
According to the political editor of Etemad newspaper, following an interview with the mother of Amirhossein Rahimi, a 15-year-old protester, a temporary release order with a salary slip guarantee has been issued for him.
The mother of Amirhossein Rahimi, a teenager who was arrested on October 13 in Fardis, Karaj, and turned 15 while in custody, told Etemad newspaper that she cannot afford the judge’s 500 million toman bail for her son’s release.
In this interview, his mother said that after a week of not knowing Amirhossein’s whereabouts, they finally found him at the end of October in the Kachouei Correctional Facility.
She told this Tehran-based newspaper that he has been in this prison for two months, and Amirhossein’s case was in the investigation phase at branch 8 of the Karaj Public Prosecutor’s Office. The judge set a 500 million toman bail, which we couldn’t provide. Despite pleading for the amount to be converted to a guarantee, the investigator did not agree.
She also mentioned that her son was hit by pellet shots during his arrest and added that during a booth meeting with him, Amirhossein said he feels pain in his chest, stomach, head, and neck.
