Two mountaineers involved in the avalanche incident in Oshnavieh were rescued.

The head of the West Azerbaijan Red Crescent announced that two mountaineers involved in the avalanche incident on the Randoleh heights of Oshnavieh were rescued.

Hamid Mahbubi stated that with the improvement of weather conditions and the efforts of the Red Crescent operational forces, 2 missing mountaineers out of 5 in the avalanche incident on the Randoleh heights of Oshnavieh were found and transferred to a medical center.

The search and rescue operation by dispatched teams to find the remaining 3 people is still ongoing.
