4 hectares of Semiramis pastures were ashed with cigarette butts

Four hectares of Semiramis pastures were turned to ash with cigarette butts.

The Director General of Crisis Management of Isfahan Province reported that a fire broke out at 5:00 PM today in part of the pastures along the road of Roudabad village in the lower Padenay district of Semiramis county.

The incident was assessed to be caused by negligence in discarding cigarette butts beside the road, which, due to strong winds and intense heat, led to the spread of the fire.
