53% of healthcare staff want to leave

According to the latest survey published by the Iranian Migration Observatory, more than 53% of healthcare staff wish to migrate from Iran, and only 3% of them are willing to return to the country after migrating. Respondents of the questionnaires were also asked about the impact of internal factors, personal issues, and external factors, the overall situation of the country, on their desire to migrate. The responses from the target groups reveal that more than 70% of doctors and nurses believe external factors have a very significant impact on their migration. Additionally, 73% of doctors and nurses considered the impact of inflation on their desire to migrate to be very significant, and 63% of them assessed the impact of sanctions on their desire to migrate as very high.
