Six people have been arrested on charges of disrupting the order of polling stations in Gilan.

The prosecutor of the Revolutionary Court in Rasht, Gilan province, has stated that six individuals have been arrested on charges of disrupting the order of polling stations in this city.

According to IRNA, Hadi Niroumand stated that one of these individuals is the headman of Polang village, which is part of the central district of this county, and several others are leaders of election candidates in this county.

Mr. Niroumand said that these individuals were causing disruptions around the polling stations and ballot boxes, despite numerous warnings, they continued their activities, which ultimately led to their arrest.
