Iran fined $67,450 in the Asian Cup

The Asian Football Confederation fined Amir Qalehnoei $10,000 for absence in a TV interview after the game against Qatar

The third clause of the national team coach’s verdict emphasizes that a harsher punishment will be imposed in case of recurrence

Qalehnoei’s failure to comply with regulations in a TV interview led players to avoid interviews. Therefore, Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Mehdi Taremi were each fined $10,000, and the federation was also fined $10,000.

The federation must also pay $3,000 for the attack by a spectator, Akbar Bozmejoo, on the Boomehen officials, which will be deducted from Iran’s revenues.

IFF added $1,250 for delays in entering the field and $4,200 for the cards against Syria to Iran’s fines.

Saeid Ezatolahi was fined $5,000 for questioning the Confederation’s decision in selecting referees and questioning his impartiality. Shojae Khalilzadeh was fined $2,000 for a severe foul leading to expulsion against Qatar.
