Members of the Expediency Discernment Council have declared the production and use of nuclear weapons as forbidden.
In response to a question about Kharrazi’s statements regarding a change in Iran’s nuclear doctrine, Sayyid Mohammad Sadr said, ‘I have no precise information about the source of these talks and opinions. As far as I know, the Leader’s statements and positions in this area are decisive. He has repeatedly declared the production, possession, and use of nuclear weapons as forbidden. I am not aware of the basis on which some friends raise issues about changing the Islamic Republic of Iran’s nuclear doctrine. They may have received some hints.’
Of course, it is natural that when your enemy threatens you, you must give an appropriate response and respond to any of their actions with a similar or stronger response. If Israel ever decides to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities, it will be met with a strong reaction.
