Abbas Abdi estimates that the minimum participation rate is 55 percent.
Abbas Abdi, a journalist and researcher, reported a surge in voter participation in the presidential elections among Tehranis based on the results of a poll.
Abbas Abdi stated that his estimate of the maximum participation rate is 60 percent. Anything beyond this figure would be extraordinary, but he doesn’t believe that participation will be less than 55 percent. If participation falls below 55 percent, it will not be considered a success for the government.
In recent days, Abbas Abdi, a journalist, analyst, and researcher, commented on the poll results released by the Survey Institute regarding the rate of Tehran residents’ participation in the elections. According to the mentioned poll results, the predicted participation rates in Tehran are as follows: 142 certain, 169 doubtful, and 688 non-participation. Abdi stated in these messages that the Tehran engine has not cooled down yet and the coming week will be even hotter.
He continued by stating that the statistics of the undecided voters, based on the survey and charts, are significant. According to the survey text, the proportion of undecided voters is still high and they need advertising and logical justification to participate in the elections. It is said that there is a moral barrier in front of them. Therefore, I think that considering the importance of the elections, this moral barrier will gradually fade away.
