Ali Baqeri, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, intends to set aside dealing with the dollar

Ali Baqeri, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, stated that they intend to set aside dealing with the dollar.

Ali Baqeri, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, said that Tehran-Riyadh relations are moving in the right direction and expanding.

He emphasized that Iran intends to set aside its financial transactions with the dollar in order to better combat Western sanctions. He stressed that Iran is serious about this move and that the will exists among BRICS countries as well. Therefore, this collaboration can significantly guarantee Iran’s interests.

Baqeri stated that the countries accusing Iran of nuclear plans are the same countries that have failed in other areas against Iran. He said these countries want to turn the International Atomic Energy Agency into a political battleground for settling scores with Tehran, but with these actions, they harm the technical and professional position of the Agency.
