The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army has announced that his country will respond to Iran's military attack

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army announced that his country will respond to Iran’s military attack.

Major General Haloui said on Tuesday evening that the missiles fired at Israel will be met with a corresponding response.

General Haloui stated that Iran sought to damage Israel’s strategic capabilities, a move that had not been attempted in the past. Israel has prepared itself for ironclad defense operations, and Iran faced our aerial superiority. We are evaluating our next steps, and the firing of numerous missiles, cruise missiles, and drones towards Israeli territory will be met with a corresponding response.

The Nevatim Airbase is where some of Israel’s F-35 fighter jets are stationed. It was one of the targets of Iran’s ballistic missile attack on Saturday night, causing very minor damage according to an Israeli army spokesperson, allowing it to continue its full operation.
