Deputy of the Judiciary: Babak Zanjani's Assets Entered the Country Accounting for Inflation

Babak Zanjani’s assets, considering inflation, have entered the country with the assistance of a judicial authority.

The judicial deputy discussed Babak Zanjani’s case, stating that his assets were identified outside the country and returned to Iran.

Naser Saraj, the judicial deputy, referred to Babak Zanjani’s case, mentioning that it has been raised since 2015. He said that a portion of his assets in Iran was confiscated, and those identified abroad were also repatriated, exceeding the amount he owed, even after adjusting for inflation.

He mentioned the seizure of an American ship in relation to the complaint of patients with permits and continued that for the damages of these patients, an oil tanker was confiscated and the damages will be paid to the beneficiaries through the sale of oil.

He announced the arrest of an individual and a company with billions of tomans in debt, adding that the individual has been arrested and is currently serving time in prison.
