Erdogan expressed concern over the increase in racism in Germany.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, accused the West during the visit of Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of Germany to Turkey, of closing their eyes to the suffering of civilians in Gaza.

Erdogan said our German friends should see this tragic situation, Gaza has turned into rubble.

The President of Turkey also expressed concern over the increase in racism in Germany.

Germany and Turkey have different positions on the Middle East conflict. The German side has criticized Erdogan’s stance on Hamas, which the President of Turkey describes as a liberating organization.
