The active political conservative immigrant Saeed Jalili does not even have a background of managing a shop.
Mohammad Mahajeri, a journalist and conservative analyst, mentioned a possible duality between Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Saeed Jalili, saying that although Ghalibaf and Jalili are rivals, some of their votes overlap. Both portray themselves as leaders and seek to gain votes. However, since Jalili represents the ultra-right wing of the conservatives, he is distant from Ghalibaf, who sometimes takes on a new conservative gesture.
In a conversation with Fararu, he added that he heard efforts have been made to sideline Jalili in favor of Ghalibaf. The justification is that in the dispute between these two, Jalili’s supporters believe that due to the disclosures against Ghalibaf, his votes are fewer and he should step aside in favor of Jalili.
Mahajeri emphasized that Jalili is definitely ineffective and he has not even managed a shop before. He has not done any executive work. On the other hand, he takes a completely unique approach in foreign policy leadership.
This political analyst emphasized that Qalibaf has engaged in a lot of bandwagoning in recent years and has done everything to ensure his longevity. From this perspective, he can be considered as having a distant relationship with principled behavior. He clashed with the leaders of the Steadfastness Front, but the core of steadfastness is with Jalili.
