Considering the long history of saffron in Iran and in support of this national product, the fifth of Aban was named National Saffron Day.
According to the head of the Agricultural Commission of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, choosing a day as National Saffron Day can greatly help us in advancing the goals of developing the market for this product.
He further added that National Saffron Day can become a national symbol and cultural heritage, making saffron an inseparable part of Iran’s identity. This cultural significance not only strengthens consumer loyalty but also enhances the social sense among saffron enthusiasts.
