Former Persepolis Coach in Iran: I Was Threatened with Death

Former Persepolis coach in Iran claims he was threatened with death

Osmar Viera, former Persepolis coach, has accepted the offer to lead Buriram, the most prestigious club in Thailand, after leading this team to victory in the Premier League.

He says that in the early days of coaching Persepolis, some fans threatened him with death on his wife and daughter’s personal page. The only thing that upset him was the behavior towards his daughter and wife. Things were said that I don’t think anyone would want to hear.

This Brazilian coach has cited family issues as the reason for his departure from Persepolis in an interview with ISNA. He says that despite financial agreements with the Reds, he returned to Iran for his family.

Osmar successfully led Persepolis to win the Super Cup three times as an assistant coach and as head coach, he won the sixteenth championship for Persepolis in the league.

The worst thing they said was to convince your husband to come back alive to Brazil, rather than bringing him back to Brazil in a coffin. We despise him, he is not worthy of Persepolis. Maybe we stole him and brought a disaster upon ourselves.
