Japanese will establish a lunar refueling station.
Japan’s renowned aerospace industry group successfully carried out the landing mission of its Japanese lunar lander on the moon earlier this year.
The challenges and complexities of this mission had made it seem impossible, but the Japanese made the impossible possible. Now, the well-known company Takasago Thermal Engineering has coordinated the launch of its first experimental electrolyzer, which is designed to produce hydrogen from lunar water, with SpaceX.
This mission is set to deploy this hydrogen production system in the minimal lunar conditions of weather and gravity for initial testing. The Japanese are determined to successfully finalize the operation of this system and then gradually establish a comprehensive system for hydrogen production from water on the moon.
In this way, the Japanese will achieve a significant milestone. They will establish a refueling station that will provide the required fuel for space ships in the future.
