Judge Ghaedizadeh Hashemi’s response regarding his withdrawal is that it is forbidden for someone who does not consider themselves righteous to be nominated religiously.
The presidential election candidate emphasized that foreign policy should have achievements, stating that the thirteenth government changed from imaginary diplomacy to practical diplomacy.
Amirhossein Ghaedizadeh Hashemi, the candidate for the fourteenth presidential election, was a guest at a political roundtable today.
In response to Ibrahim Motaghi’s question about withdrawing from the elections, Amirhossein Ghaedizadeh said, ‘My perspective in the arena of elections is religious and obligatory. It is forbidden religiously for someone who does not consider themselves righteous to be nominated. It is clear that we are all children of the revolution, and the Islamic Revolution encompasses all intellectual currents.’
He said, ‘Presidents, other than being leaders, either get killed or something else happens, meaning they either put themselves in trouble. Those who are politically closer should do the right thing. It doesn’t mean everyone should pull together for each other. There are many discussions going on. I have a bad record of withdrawals, and I did not withdraw in the previous round.’
