Kayhan's Attack on the Management of Hossein Entezami During the Vulgarity Era in Cinema Expanded

Kayhan’s attack on the management of Hossein Entezami during his tenure in the cinema industry has expanded obscenity.

Kayhan newspaper wrote that these days, Hossein Entezami, who is currently speaking at cultural forums as a candidate for the fourteenth presidential election, challenges them, but in practice, he has a different track record.

From November 2018 until the end of Hassan Rouhani’s government, he was responsible for the Cinematic Organization.

During the three-year period of Hossein Entezami’s presence in the Cinematic Organization, in addition to the sharp increase in obscenity and the spread of vulgar films in Iranian cinema, the continuous decrease in the audience, the increase in injustice among filmmakers, the rise in economic pressure on filmmakers, and the lack of a strategy to continue cinema activities during the COVID-19 pandemic led to his management of the Cinematic Organization becoming one of the most critical periods in the history of Iranian cinema by the end of 2021.
