Mahnaz Zekayi became the second female referee in Darby matches.

Mahnaz Zekayi was chosen as the second referee to be present in the VAR room for the match between Esteghlal and Persepolis.

The game is scheduled to take place in the 20th week of the Iranian Premier League on Thursday, March 12th.

It was previously mentioned that Mahsa Ghorbani is set to be the first Iranian female referee to be in the VAR room among the referees of this match.

This means that two Iranian female referees will be part of the referee team for the Darby match.
