Masoud Pezeshkian said people are living in poverty and misery.

The representative of Tabriz in the parliament stated that the main reason for the government’s failure to fulfill its promises is not using expert individuals. He mentioned that it was planned for inflation to first be halved and then become single-digit, but not only it didn’t halve, it horrifically multiplied several hundred times. It was planned to build one million housing units, but not only they couldn’t fulfill this promise in four years, but even if they work for eight years, they won’t be able to deliver on their promise.

He continued saying people are living in poverty and misery, and we don’t see these issues. We also didn’t act on the slogans we raised regarding justice. Mr. Pezeshkian stated that it was planned to create employment for one million people, which they also didn’t act upon. We give a lot of theoretical promises and speeches, but in practice, it’s not that simple to implement. The main reason for the government’s failure is also that they don’t utilize expert individuals and collective participation based on competence and merit.
