Minister: We are Forced to Import Gasoline

The Minister of Energy stated that we are forced to import gasoline.

Ali Abadi, referring to the main strategies in the automotive industry, said that electrification is a direction we must move towards. Currently, 120 million liters of gasoline are consumed daily nationwide, of which we need to import 7 million liters. Therefore, electrification is a solution to reduce gasoline consumption.

He emphasized that by the end of this year, 3,000 new electric vehicle charging stations will be built.
