Mohammad Sarour, a Lebanese suspect in transferring money between Iran and Hamas in Beirut, was killed

Mohammad Saroor, a suspected Lebanese money transfer agent between Iran and Hamas in Beirut, was killed.

A Lebanese security source announced that a Lebanese man accused of being involved in transferring money from Iran to Hamas was killed near Beirut.

The unnamed security source told the French news agency on Thursday, April 11, that the body of this man named Mohammad Saroor was found on Tuesday in a villa in the Beit Meri area overlooking Beirut, with at least five gunshot wounds. He added that the perpetrators of this murder took the money that was near him.

The Lebanese National News Agency also reported on Tuesday evening that the body of a 57-year-old man was found in the vicinity of this location. The news agency did not release the full name of the victim, but the initials announced match the name Mohammad Ibrahim Saroor.
