NATO Secretary-General arrived in the capital of Ukraine.

Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO Secretary-General, stated that the member countries of the organization have not fulfilled their promises to provide military assistance to Ukraine in recent months, and mentioned that the flow of arms and supplies to Ukraine will increase soon.

The NATO Secretary-General met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an unannounced trip to Kyiv on Tuesday, April 29.

Stoltenberg’s trip to Ukraine on Tuesday is his third visit to the country since the Russian military invasion in February 2022. This trip comes at a time when Ukraine is facing difficulties on the battlefield.

Following Ukraine’s anti-offensive defeat last year, Russian forces took the initiative partly due to the decrease in the supply of arms and supplies from the West to Ukraine.
