Nasser Kanani described the statements of a US official about the Iranian elections as interventionist.

Following the remarks of a senior US official about the presidential elections, the spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described these statements as interventionist.

Abram Pili, the deputy to the US Special Representative for Iran, wrote on Network X that while the Iranian government is preparing for its presidential elections, unfortunately, the United States does not expect free and fair elections to be held.

Nasser Kanani, the spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded on the same social network, writing that the interventionist remarks of the deputy to the US Special Representative for Iran regarding the presidential elections in our country are baseless and a clear interference.

He claimed that the validity and integrity of holding elections in Iran have also been proven in previous polls.
