No one has told me the clever one in the elections

No one has told me that Zarif is not running in the elections.

I don’t know how to play the game of band-bazi. Although I believe in diplomacy, I do not believe in playing games. I have principles and I believe that I cannot work against these principles.

What is achievable in our country is reforming the mindset. If the mindset is not reformed, demagoguery and hero worship prevail. Hero worship cannot reform the country.

In response to the question of whether he wanted to be president and if that would have led to a better preservation of the JCPOA, Zarif said he did not think so. The mere speculation that Zarif wanted to be president led to the approval of the Strategic Action Plan by the parliament.

I believed it was my historical duty to fulfill the JCPOA. Along this path, I had some flexibility. My duty was to trim the professor’s beard. I preferred to trim it completely, but I said I would trim it completely and do my job.
