On the day of the elections, 58 people were detained, according to the spokesperson of the judiciary.

According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic’s judiciary, on the day of the presidential elections on June 28, 58 people were detained.

These individuals were detained on charges such as disrupting polling stations or engaging in clashes between supporters, although most of them were released by the end of the same day.

According to ISNA, Asghar Jahangir, the social deputy for crime prevention of the Iranian judiciary, stated during a meeting on Tuesday, July 2, that prior to the elections, about 600 individuals who were engaged in unlawful activities in cyberspace were warned in person or over the phone.
