Ramadan Begins with Massacre and Hunger in Gaza

The month of Ramadan began with slaughter and hunger in Gaza.

Palestinians are starting the month of Ramadan while Israeli attacks on Gaza continue, with no signs of ceasefire in sight.

Most of the population in Gaza have been displaced due to Israeli attacks, and relief organizations have warned of widespread famine in the region.

António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, said in a video message posted on social media that the people of Gaza and its situation will be in his thoughts during the month of Ramadan.

Earlier, Joe Biden, the President of the United States, said in a message for the occasion of Ramadan that the pain and suffering of Palestinians are an important issue in the minds of many Muslims.
