Aqbalian House in Hamedan, which had the permit from the municipality and the green light from the cultural heritage, was demolished. This valuable work, remaining from contemporary Iranian history, was registered in the national heritage list.
Hamedan city officials had promised to prevent the demolition of Aqbalian House.
Aqbalian House was designed in line with the current architectural trends dominating the world. The house was built with the architecture of engineer Mahmoud Niami.
He was one of the students of Houshang Seyhoun and played a role in several national projects, including the Abbasabad Hills.
